Dear Mama, Daddy + all
Hope you all are just fine. I'm doing all right. We got back to camp about one o'clock Friday night, we marched about 12 am 15 miles and it wasn't bad at all, it seemed funny sleeping in a bed again. I had rather sleep on the ground. We didn't do anything but have rifle inspection yesterday. I went to see Buford last nite but he is still in the hospital, may go down there after dinner. I saw Bufords [ineligible] last nite, he was down to see his boy. [Ineligible] seems like a bad dream, I dreaded it for weeks and now its over. It won't be so long now, we graduate Friday and should leave the following Tuesday or Wed.
I got your letter and the money yesterday, sure was glad to hear from you. John Pallard wrote me and I also got a letter and a [ineligible] from that little [Searey] girl who helped chop cotton. I'll have to go see her while I'm home, wonder where she got my address. We had real nice weather on [ineligible] - only rained about three times and it has been hot for the past week. I seldom wear a coat. Am glad Dick is about through spraying, too bad his face burnt. The material you get now isn't to good.
I went to the movies last nite but the picture wasn't very good. I haven't had a blister on my feet although I've walked many a mile. That's the thing I'm proud of, that's good [ineligible]. I think I lost some weight the past three weeks but I'll gain it back now that we get plenty to eat.
Well, I'll say so long for now. Write when you can. Tell all hello,
Lots of Love to all,
Bob
