Dear Mama, Daddy + all,
Hello and how are you all. I'm all right, went on a pass this week, Buford and I went to St. Augustine, we had a lot of fun. We rode in a [crossed out word 'buggy' twice] little cart and sure did have a time.
Received your letter yesterday, sure was glad to hear from you all. Tell Fred I'll write her in a few days. I don't know what I'll have to do next week.
[Unintelligible] people were down this weekend, I started to come home with them to write. Buford and I are coming A.W.O.L in two weeks if he doesn't back out on me. I tried to get him to leave to-day but he was scared to.
I like this outfit just fine, it's a lot better than the one I left.
Well, I'll close for this time. Tell all hello and write when you can.
Love to all.
Bob

By the way, if you can't get me out, don't worry to much, I'll get by, but I would like to be out.
Bob
