Dear Mama, Daddy, & all,
Hello and how are you all, I'm O.K. except for being disgusted. I'm still on a work detail, wish they would hurry and transfer me. I'm losing time every day.
I went out and helped work in the range yesterday, it sure did rain. I stayed wet all day and like to have froze. The army doesn't stop for rain or anything else. I dodged to day and got an inside job. Hope I have as good luck to-morrow as I had to-day.
Received you letter yesterday, am glad Fred is getting along all all right. Hope she hurrys up and gets wed.
I sure did enjoy my leave, it's good to get home if only for a few days. I'll be back home - day to stay. [unelligible name] & Ralph & [unelligible name] [tear] to the station with me.
Maggie said she was sending you some pictures did you get them. She send me five and they were real good. That bid cried like a baby the night before I left. I'll have to teach her better than that. "ha ha". Sounds like Bill doesn't it.
I see Buford most every night, he seems to be doing all right. We ate supper down at the Service Club Sunday night. It was a fairly good meal.
It's as cold as all get out, down here to-night, I'm going to wrap up in my overcoat.
Don't forget to get [unelligible name] Xmas present for me. It would be hard for me to do any Xmas shopping down here.
Well I'll say so long for to-night. Write when you can. Tell all hello.
Love to all.
Bob.
I miss sleeping late and coming and going as I please but it can't be like this always. Tell Ann hello for me.
