Thursday even.
Dear Mama, Daddy + all,
Hello and how are you all, got in about twelve noon today, they wanted me to work but I slipped off.
I found Buford but didn't get to see him, he was out drilling, think I'll go back tonight, if it quits raining.
If the allotment check comes, tell Dick to keep it out of the bank, I won't get paid till Dec. 31 and I'll probably write for some money later on.
I'm so tired I can hardly write. I may stay in this company a week or two before I am transferred out, I guess I'll lose a lot of time, but the furlough was well worth it.
Write me how Fred is, hope she is getting along all right.
Will close for this time. Write more next time. Tell all hello.
Love to all,
Bob
