Dear Mother, Dad, + all:
Hello and how are all of you? I hope that all are fine and life is treating all of you well. I received your letter the other day and should have written sooner, but I have been working pretty regular and haven't had the chance. Spring has come there by now hasn't it? I guess you are all rather busy getting ready to plant crops. I hope you make a good one this year. (Illegible) you still move your flowers around like you used to. I imagine they have all started to bloom by now. I sure will be glad when the war gets over so I can come home to Georgia and Bruce, and we can start on a home of our own, a place where we can have anything we want and Bruce will have plenty of room to play in and get plenty of sunshine and fresh air. I want him to (illegible) as brown as an Indian and always (illegible) bushy and healthy. I will write a longer letter in a few days. I hope all are in the best of health. Write every chance you can get. Tell all (bells?)
Love to all,
Bill
