Dear Mother, Dad, and all -
Hello and how are all of you, fine I hope. [ineligible] the snow was beautiful, but I hope we don't have any over here. I, too, hope that spring will [inelligle] come there and everything comes out. I hope you all have a good crap this year, it [ineligible] soon be time to start. What is [2 indelible names] in. I hope he gets through O.K. Things are [ineligible] of [ineligible] down there joint now. There is an [ineligible] network over fine, are get [2 indelible] the date, although, we don't have a [ineligible] in the [ineligible] there is one restroom and it come [ineligible, tear]. I hope this war is soon over [tear] I can come home to my wife [tear] I want to see them so bad, I [tear] to get to them. [2 ineligible lines] I have to wait until I get to [ineligible]. [ineligible] of you all are good, I [tear] my turn at guard again tonight from 12 [tear] 8 A.M. [ineligible] off [ineligible] gloom [ineligible] to [tear] I had a letter from Hazel, she said the [tear] [2 ineligible] a snow up there. I imagine all the [ineligible] crowd there have been called, but I [ineligible] have as much right as anyone else to help get [ineligible] things [ineligible] with in a hurry if possible.
