Dear Mother, Dad, +All:
Hello and how are all of you? I am O.K. but I get pretty homesick for my wife and son. I received your letter a couple of days ago. I hope that all of you had a swell Christmas. I hope that next year I am with Georgia and Bruce and we can fix Santa for him. It will be lots of fun especially for our baby. Boy but I really love them so much. I have been working pretty regular here lately, but I don't (illegible) for every but helps no matter how small it might be. I suppose Hubert Bellinger is over some place by this time. I take my turn of guard tonight until midnight. It has been rather cold but I've only seen a little snow fall and it melted. When one has to work on the (illegible) they don't like to see any snow. I suppose you will be getting ready to start another crop before so much longer. I hope (you?) make each a better one this year than last and you are able to get help, but I imagine most of the men are in some branch of the service now. The days are beginning to get longer again and you can tell it just a little. Write when you can and tell all hello.
Love to all,
Bill
