Photograph of Wofford College baseball team, circa 1901-02. Photo shows B.A. Bennett, who graduated in 1902. Names are written under each person at the bottom of the photo: the manager Fairy, Bates, Lee, Hudgens(?), Martin, Burudge(?), Bennett, Burnett, Du Pree, Hall, Sullivan. One person (between Du Pree and Hall) is not labeled; he is not in uniform, wearing a hat and tie, so is likely an assistant of some sort.
On the back of the photo is written in fountain or quill pen ink: "for McD. Y." (or possibly McD. G.) In pencil, at the bottom right, is written "3 col. Greer Citizen by Bus" and in the top right "4."
A separate card is with the photograph and has been given accession number 2023.89.1b. It reads:
