Photograph of Trade Street in Greer, S.C. in 1938. The original is black and white, and has received substantial damage. We also have a digitally restored and colored version. Pencil notes on the back indicate it was borrowed for newspaper reproduction at some point; they appear to be written by Edd Burch of the Greer Citizen.
1940s photograph of Greer's Mayor Hose Lanford pictured with his "sidekick" Roy C Hefner. The pair is seen volunteering together to help pick the cotton crop for the City's cotton-picking project during World War II.
