Pencil notes on the back indicate it was borrowed for newspaper reproduction at some point; they appear to be written by Edd Burch of the Greer Citizen.

- Curatorial Information
- Originally taped to a brown-face, black-core matboard using double-stick tape. That was torn free, resulting in damage to the top edge of the image, then was re-taped using a white paper framer's tape. Two tears have been repaired using cellophane tape.
