Bill is manager of the Greenville City Club. He is a graduate of St. Paul's Prep School in Covington, La., and attended both Belmont Abbey and Furman University.

REMARKABLE! Nothing short of remarkable!
Dr. Viola P. Kirkwood of Few Street in Greer will attain the great age of 100 tomorrow, and it is not surprising that a celebration is being planned at her home by the Women of the First Presbyterian Church of Greer of which Dr. Kirkwood is an honored member.
Friends from throughout the area are invited to call between the hours of 2 and 6.
Dr. Kirkwood is an optometrist and has practised her profession in Greer for 25 years. She moved to our neighboring city in 1919. She is a native of Molton, Iowa.
The good doctor lives alone on Few Street and she possesses all the physical skills with which to do her housekeeping chores.
If you are celebrating G. Washington's birthday--just remember that Feb. 22 is also Dr. Kirkwood's birthday. And drop-in at Few Street to congratulate her.
