Funeral Services Held On Saturday For Miss Andrea

Miss Catherine Andrea of 709 West Poinsett Street, died Thursday in a Greenville nursing home.
Miss Andrea was a daughter of the late Ida Mae Perry and Fred W. Andrea Sr. She was a native of the Sandy Flat section of Greenville County and lived in Greer for the past 42 years. Miss Andrea was a graduate of Greer High School and Draughons Business College, and was a member of Memorial Methodist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, John A. Andrea and Fred W. Andrea Jr. of Spartanburg; a sister, Mis. James (Mildred) Greer of Route 1, Taylors; two half-sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Edith) Holtzclaw of Greer, and Mrs. Earl (Enda) Alewine of Taylors.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. Joel Cannon officiating. Interment, directed by the Wood Mortuary, was in Mountain View Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Alewine, Fred Andrea III , Tom Duncan, Gary Greer, Frank Neves. and Charles Roberts.
