Miss McClimon Is Honoree At Party
Mrs. Mae Wood Robison and Mrs. Dave Shepard honored Mrs. John Wood Robison, then Miss Carolinda McClimon, at a lovely party Thursday evening, March 20th.
Six tables of rummy were placed in the Daniel Apartments on Ballenger avenue, where Mrs. Robison resides, and colorful gladiolia and golden jonquils were used decoratively in the rooms.
High score for the evening went to Mrs. Ed Champion while Mrs. Olin B. Oliphant was second high scorer and winner at bingo.
The petite bride-elect was lovely in a beige silk dress with a corsage of red roses presented by the hostesses. Linen was also given the honoree by Mrs. Dave Shepard and Mrs. Robison.
Mrs. J. F. Gilreath, Mrs. Joe Brantley and Mrs. John D. Wood assisted in the serving of the refreshments, which included a frozen salad with potato chips, sandwiches, cookies and Russian tea.
