The bride was becomingly dressed in teal blue with wine accessories. She is the attractive daughter of Mrs. Bessie Wood of Pelham street of Greer and the late Mr. "Buddie" Wood. Mr. Massey is the son of Mrs. Daisy Massey of Greer. He is a young business man of the city and is affiliated with the Greer Ice & Fuel Plant and the Victor Monaghan

MRS. MASSEY ENTERTAINS
Mrs. Daisy Massey entertained with a lovely six course dinner Saturday evening at her home. Covers were laid for the following: Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Russell, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. James Massey, Miss Nell Chumley, Mr. Lloyd Andrews, Miss Margaret Massey, Mrs. Daisy Massey.

WOOD—MASSEY
A marriage of interest to their many friends was that of Miss Bessie Wood to Mr. James Lewis Massey. Thursday evening, Nov. 24th with Rev. Phillips of Greer performing the ceremony in the presence of a few relatives and close friends. The bride was strikingly attired in a suit of teal blue with wine accessories. Mrs. Massey is the attractive daughter of Mrs. I. M. Wood and the late Mr. Wood of Greer. She received her education at the Greer High School. Mr. Massey is the son of Mrs. Daisy Massey. He also attended the Greer High School and holds a position with the Victor Plant. At present they are at the home of the groom's mother.

MRS. MASSEY HONORED
Mrs. Daisy Massey gave in honor of Mrs. James Massey, a recent bride, a kitchen shower at her home last Friday evening. Mrs. Talley Davis and Mrs. B. J. Davis dierected the games which were very interesting. Mrs. Nix acting as "Santa Claus" presented the gifts which were highly appreciated. The hostess served a delicious salad course, crackers, fruit cake, nuts and coffee. Miniature Santa Clauses were given for favors. The honoree received lots of lovely gifts.
