Biographical Text

Legendary coach Phil Clark began as assistant football coach at Greer High School in 1951.
The next year he became head coach and served in that capacity until 1970 and continued as athletic director until 1978. In 1956, his team won the State AA Football Champsionship. He was well respected by the community. After his coaching and teaching days were over, he was active in church and community.
