Biographical Text

Dan Davenport provided the driver's education car for the classes at Greer High School.
Davenport, who bought Thompson Motors in 1937 with Earl Duncan, renamed it D&D Ford. His son George and grandson George Jr (known as "Skip) continued in the business.
