- Suzanne Greene was Greer's artist. Born in 1928, she studied art in college and began her career as a technical illustrator in 1952 for Western Electric in North Carolina. She worked for various companies in illustration and design. She was a popular art instructor and watercolorist. Her son Pepper, inspired by his mother, is also an artist. She died in 2004.
