The Rollins family has a long history in law. The first John Rollins, a justice of the peace, settled at O'Neal. His son C. B. Rollins was a Spartanburg County magistrate judge. John M. Rollins (1926-2000), practiced in Greer from 1955 to 1999. Besides a practice in Greer, John Rollins Jr. is a Spartanburg County magistrate and the municipal judge for Landrum.
