Office of J. Walter Gray
Master for Greenville County
Greenville, S.C.
March 26, 1907
Mr. G.W. Plumley,
Landrum, S.C.
Dear Sir:
In looking over your return I find that Mr. Blythe allowed you 5% commissions on amount received and 5% on amount paid out, amounting to $53.12
The law allows you only 2-1/2% on amount received and 2-1/2% on amount paid out. So you will see your return credits you with $26.56 more than it should.
You can send me a check for this amount, or if you prefer, sign enclosed receipt for part of your distributive share, and return to me by mail.
Very truly yours,
J. W. Gray,
Master
P.S. Have dated enclosed receipt March 23rd, the day on which the return was filed
