Lovely Floats Adorned By Lovely Ladies Highlighted Peach Festival Parade
SHOWN ABOVE ARE SIX OF THE MANY beautiful floats and lovely girls who rode upon them last Thursday afternoon as Greer Presented for all to see their 1960 Fourth Annual South Carolina Peach Festival Parade. At the top, left to right, is the J. P. Stevens & Co., Inc. and T. E. Jones & Sons, Inc. entries. In the center are Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. and Homelite A Division of Textron, Inc. At the bottom, to the left, a very lovely "young" entry by the Ratterree-James Insurance Agency and to the right, Miss Anne Goldsmith, then the reigning Peach Festival Queen.
