COUPLE OF BEAUTIES

Beautiful young lady, beautiful early peach combine here in illustrating the first basket of Greenville County peaches packed for carload shipment from Earl R. Taylor’s orchard near Greer yesterday. Approximately 400 bushels went to New York markets by refrigerated truck. The peach is a Dixie Red. The lady is Miss Margery Mayfield, 18-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Mayfield of Greer.–(Greenville News Photo by James G. Wilson Jr.)
