"Dear Sister,
Guess you will be surprised to get a letter from me. Saw in a new home and like it fine. So nice to be in a Christian home with some one who really cares for you. I wish I had had got out of that hole long ago. I sure do. And I would have if I had stayed on down there. No on knew how much I suffered and no one seemed to care except one or two I will not mention. I ought not to say this, but people up there dont know what Chrristianity is, We have prayer every night. Ive done been carried around more since + been here than I was in a year up there. Eat three good meals, hot biscuits + coffee. All I want pot full on now. MR + MRS Jayer are so nice to all us. I have good things, bed and a nice Buddy. He is sleeping now. We can lay down where we want to, go any where. I went to hospital today saw DR Saw and he told me he would take care of me and I would not have to have him come to see me for I was close to clinic and his office. Nurse Fowler took my address so she could come to see me. I lay down in her room while DR Saw got through another another patient. They gave me a shot and he gave me 3 bottles of vitamins and I went up-stair to see my girlfriend Mrs Jayer one yesterday for me . She is coming this evening. I think I bought watermelon got it and see to keep until she comes. She used to be nurse ade. But she doesnt work there anymore. But dont matter she is still sweet I dont think I will even come back up there to live . SO much difference in people I could not live right up there so many selfish ones.
