KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That We, Hettie Wilson Smith, Ernestine Wilson Hendrix, Alice Wilson Lanford and Bertha Wilson Smith in the State aforesaid, in consideration of the sum of $5.00 and the partition of real estate to us in hand paid at and before the sealing of these presents by Bertha Wilson Smith (the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged), have granted, bargained, sold and released, and by these presents fo grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said Bertha Wilson Smith and her heirs and assigns:
All that certain piece, parcel or tract of land situate, lying and being in Reidville township, Spartanburg County, State of South Carolina, containing Thirty-nine (39) Acres, and known and designated as Tract No. 4 of the Estate of Mrs. R.A. Wilson according to survey and play by H.S. Brockman, Surveyor, dated November 20, 1937, and having the following courses and distances, to wit:
Beginning at an iron pin on the road leading to Brockman’s Gin, corner of tracts 2 and 3, and running along said road N.11.30 W.46 feet to bend, N.26 W.100 feet to bend, N.34.15 W.200 feet to bend, N.38.15 W.300 feet to bend, thence N.41 W.163 feet to iron pin in road; thence S.83.45 W.523 feet to iron pin on line of Mrs. Frank Compton; thence S.400 W.275 feet to stone; thence N.85.56 W.609 feet to stone; thence S.18.50 E.165.5 feet to iron pin; thence S.2.20 W.241.5 feet to iron pin; thence S7.50 E.329 feet to iron pin; thence S.32.10 E.78 feet to iron pin; thence S.15.09 E.700 feet to iron pin; thence S.5 E.113.5 feet to iron pin on road; thence along said road S.89 E.330 feet to iron pin; thence N.10.30 W.128.7 feet to tone; thence N.69.55 E.498 feet to iron pin on road; thence N.17.15 W.661 feet to iron pin; thence N.68.45 E.772.5 feet to the beginning corner.

Together with all and singular the Rights, Members, Hereditaments and Appurtenances to the said Premises belonging, or in anywise incident or appertaining.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all and singular the Premises before mentioned unto the said Bertha Wilson Smith and her Heirs and Assigns forever.

And we do hereby bind ourselves and our Heirs, Executors and Administrators to warrant and forever defend all and singular the said Premises unto the said Bertha Wilson Smith and her Heirs and Assigns, against ourselves and our heirs and against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
WITNESS our hand and seal, this 23rd day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven in the one hundred and sixty-second year of the Independence of the United States of America.
