GOD CARES
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.-I Peter 5:6,7.

Whenever we are distraught and burdened overmuch, whenever life appears inscrutable, we need to hasten back to the conviction that God cares and that He cares for each of His children. It is God's world, His universe. He designed all things visible and invisible, and certainly His own children, according to a plan consonant with His infinite wisdom. The less we be inclined to fret and fear, to conjure fears, the more pleasing we are in His sight. As we start this day, let us cast all our care upon Him, for it is His wish and His pleasure to bear it for us.

Father, forgive our wantonness, our vain imaginings and our doubting of self and Thee. Here now, we shift our burdens of body, mind, and spirit to the hand that upholds the stars in their courses.
