The warp machine was used in the weave room at the mills. It tied the end of the yarn being used to the new yarn on the beam of yarn behind the loom so that weaving would be continuous.
Doll House Replica of Hammett House in Taylors, S.C. The House was built by the Pirkle Family in the late 1800s. There are many memories attached to this house, so The Dollhouse was built for Peggy Center by her husband Cleo Center as a Christmas present.
