According to Dr. Alverson, the table was from the Old Chick Springs Hospital and Dr. R.C. Alverson took it with him when he entered private medicine in the early 1930s. It was used in his office until 1984.

Martin G. Wallace was a radar navigator in a B19 Bomber. He participated in Normandy, the Ardennes, and Rhineland Campaigns. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with four oak leaf clusters
