Greer Heritage Museum appoints David Lovegrove as Director

GREER, SC (June 12, 2021) — The Greer Heritage Museum has selected David Lovegrove to serve as its director.

David, who is also the chief marketing officer for Bob Jones University, has worked as a volunteer with the Museum for more than eighteen months. During that time he has functioned as curator, spearheaded the Museum's revitalization plan, and led the popular Greer Ghost Tours. He has worked in the museum industry for two decades and is a member of the American Association for State and Local History.

"David brings experience, knowledge and leadership that are exactly what we need right now," said David Duncan, president of the Museum board of directors. "He will lead our work to become an integral part of the Greer community."

David is the fourth director in Greer Heritage Museum history, following David Duncan (interim director), Joada Hiatt, and founder Carm Hudson.
