In reply to your letter of July 29th, we are
pleased to quote you on 3 HP Motors, as follows:
1 - 3 HP, 3 phase, 60 cycles, 220 volts, 160
RPM, Type CS Squirrel cage induction motor,
with slide base, and standard paper pulley,
4 x 4 ". PRICE of motor as above .... $95.40
net f.o.b. point of shipment.
In the event that you desire starting switch
for the above motor, we can quote on our type "815"
non-automatic switch, at [written] net price of $12.15; and our type 815 switch with overload protection, a price of
$21.87 net.
Subject to prior sale, immediate shipment
can be made on the above equipment from our East Pitts-
burgh Works. We are enclosing leaflet describing this equipment in detail, and feel sure you will find it
entirely satisfactor.
