Choose from two tours full of Greer’s wild and frightening stories, from its rough start on Trade Street to the bodies left behind in its first cemetery. The Trade Street walking tour is the classic, and gives you the background you need to understand the stories on the Cemetery tour. Come join us!

 



Trade Street Tour: Ruffians & Scoundrels

The classic walking tour, enjoyed by thousands, starts at Greer Depot and wanders through Trade Street with stories of a spooky and rough pastIf you’ve never done a Greer Ghost Tour before, start with this one!

These are fun, family-friendly walking tours which begin at the train depot on the corner of Randall and Trade streets and end at the Greer Heritage Museum. Each tour will take about 45 minutes, and the tour is fully accessible. In case of rain, meet at the Greer Heritage Museum.

Tickets are required for those 5 and up, and will be collected at the start of the tour — print your ticket or bring it on your phone. Children 4 and under are free, but please note they will have to hold up through a walking tour up to an hour long.


 

Cemetery Tour: Murder & Mayhem

Picking up where the Trade Street Tour leaves off, discover stories of Murder and Mayhem from the earliest days of Greer’s history — starting with the amazing stories of those buried in the Greer City Cemetery. You’ll understand this tour better if you’ve taken the Trade Street Tour first!

These are walking tours which begin on Jason Street beside the Greer City Cemetery and end at the Greer Heritage Museum. Each tour will take about an hour. Note that this tour does go on unfinished surfaces (grass, gravel). In case of rain, meet at the Greer Heritage Museum. We recommend parking at the Jason Street Garage.
